Company History Audio Visual Actions, Inc (AVA) was started with streetwise experience and a dream, growing from a small business providing diverse multi-media services and technical expertise. The company started in a small “warehouse” of 250 square feet with the founder answering the phones, making deliveries, and sweeping the floors. With his education and previous AV experience, AVA rapidly grew into a thriving business, open 24/7 to serve the customer’s needs. After a year of phenomenal growth, a second partner was added to the equation. The AVA staff and services expanded from standard and emergency rental by adding production and on-site technical service. With the expansion of services the company moved to a 1500-square-foot-office that was divided among office space, warehouse space, and an audio-visual recording studio using equipment usually rented. Editing Videos for foreign television channels and private companies, AVA built a video editing studio, where other services flourished. Another rapid year of growth expanded the need for warehouse space and the production studio was replaced by much needed warehouse space. With the addition of a focused Event Staging manager from another well known AV company, business moved from rental to events. High quality screens, projectors, and staging were purchased.  There was no stopping us then. In its 5th year, AVA provided services from LA to NY, supporting shows ranging in number from the 10’s to the 1000’s. Outgrowing our space the company added 5000 square feet of warehouse and we are expanding into sales of high end electronics and accessories. We look forward to see what each new year will bring. AVA is an active member of the BCA, MPI, IAEM, Alexandria Chamber of Commerce, WCTC, Arlington Chamber of Commerce, Springfield Chamber of Commerce, Infocom, and Washington, DC Convention Center.
