+ AV Equipment Installation Technician

The Audio Visual Technician candidate should be a self starter with a great attitude and willingness to learn new technology. The candidate must be able to work flexible hours / evening / weekend / holidays due to business levels. Also candidate must meet the following

Qualifications:
Understand meeting room set-up and dismantle.
Be knowledgeable in audio, video, and computer set-up and dismantle.
Be able to take direction from the on duty supervisor and
be able to walk or stand for four hours, and be able to lift 50 lbs.

Preference will be given to a candidate that can successfully work in a team environment. Preferred candidate will have hands on experience with a broad range of AV media equipment in a hospital environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the hospital. Ability to work independently or as part of a team; ability to set priorities and work concurrently on multiple assignments. Excellent customer service skills and a high degree of integrity.

Additional Responsibility
Corporate Audio-Visual Technicians to work full for different locations, providing on-site meeting support and other technical services as directed. Professional appearance, demeanor and attitude a must.

Specific Responsibilities Include:
Operation and use of videoconference and multimedia technology to accomplish business communication objectives cost effectively
- Analyze user requirements and recommend meeting mode to achieve conference objectives
-Maintain a customer service oriented attitude
-Respond to emergency calls from clients as required and provides on-site troubleshooting
-Conduct large and small meeting set-up
-Perform camera operation and document transmission for complex or senior level meetings
-Videotape special events and videoconferences when required
-Inform Media Service directors, administrators, and engineering personnel of technology needs and potential problem situations
-Upgrade systems when necessary
-Perform operational maintenance and maintain supporting records
-Perform diagnostic testing of room systems to help identify and eliminate potential problems
- Troubleshoot with network carriers and on site telecom and IT as required

Knowledge:
You should possess excellent working knowledge or be capable of
