The unit

effects use this lamp in multiples w/colored
gels. Universal gels are available in a variety
of colors & may be purchased separately. To
enhance the beams of light use this lamp w/a fog
machine.

aware of.
Presenter Lighting
With proper lighting, a presenter will carry a more
impressive impact. Proper lighting can prevent
unwanted shadows on the presenter’s face or on the
stage.
Set Lighting
Color is a great way to influence the audience mood.
Using different colors and textures will grab the
audience right from the start.
D?or Lighting
Lighting of the rest of the room may be important in
certain events. Lighting can give a greater effect
where ever necessary.
What kind of lighting do you need?
Lighting is a great way to enhance your meeting or
exhibit. The following are some terms and
definitions to keep on hand while reviewing the lighting
needs for your next event.
Lighting Controller
Controls the brightness of the lights by remotely
controlling the dimmer.
Also allows operator to pre-set scenes.
Dimmer
Controls the brightness of lights by controlling the
voltage to the light.
Light Tree
Contains a base with two pipes forming a T. The lights
hang off the crossbar.
Par Cam Light
Used for short throws and creates wide beam of light
Leko Ligh
Used for longer throw distances and creates a narrow
beam of light.
Gels
Colored cellophane able to withstand high heat levels
placed in front of lens to give the light a particular
color.
Gobo
A small metal disc with an image or logo cut into it
allowing light to pass through and show the image on a
solid surface. Gobos in multiple colors can be
used to saturate banner overlays to amplify the theme
and message of an exhibit.
